Who we are

Founded in 1976 by Doug Wilson, owned by son Darryl and managed by grandson Chris, we have been Huntsville's source for expert advice and unmatched customer service for over 42 years.
We are here for all of your paint and decorating needs.
Other brands we keep include Sansin, Messmers, Sikkens/Sico, PPG and more.

Darryl

Owner

Darryl is the second generation Wilson and current owner of the paint store. Darryl started his career operating a commercial and residential painting company. You will have a had time finding him here in the winter as he likes to hide from the snow in Florida with his girlfriend Shelley.

Shelley

Shelley, Darryl's girlfriend, has many roles here. She manages our social media accounts, orders clothing and apparel for the painters, does colour consultations, and is our master chef!

Chris

Manager

Chris is the third generation Wilson. He started in grade 7 working weekends and summers. He has also worked for multiple painting companies to get experience with the products and applications over the years. He is now 26 and manages the store full time.

Brenda

15+ years

Brenda has been with us for over 14 years. She used to own her own paint store before joining our team. She spend most of her years helping customers and maintaining sundries. She can now be found upstairs as our main bookkeeper!

Tara

10+ years

Tara has been with us for over 10 years. She also comes packing 12 years of painting experience! Tara spends her days helping customers, ordering sundries, and much more. If you can't find something, just ask Tara!

Cheryll

Colour consultant

Cheryll started working at the paint store in 2019. She may be the new girl here but she comes with a ton of knowledge! She has over 19 years of experience in the painting field and continues to run her own painting crew today.
